Justin Bieber’s Epic Comeback: Fresh Music and First-Time Fatherhood!

Justin Bieber is back in the studio, working on some fresh tunes! He’s been collaborating with Mk.gee, a 26-year-old singer-songwriter who’s worked with artists like Dijon, Omar Apollo, and Kacy Hill. Mk.gee (real name Michael Todd Gordon) mentioned that Justin’s creative process is pretty unique. He said, “Anything that comes out of his mouth: That’s pop music.” He’s excited about the possibility of doing some wild stuff musically with Justin’s sound.

If you’ve been following Bieber’s health journey, you know he had to cancel the rest of his ‘Justice World Tour’ after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which caused partial facial paralysis. In a heartfelt Instagram video back in June 2022, he opened up about his struggle with the syndrome, explaining how it impacted his facial nerves and left him unable to perform. He was devastated but made the tough call to prioritize his health and take time to recover. The tour, which was originally supposed to wrap up in March 2023, ended early in September 2022 in Rio de Janeiro.

Even though we haven’t had any solo music from him in a while, Justin’s still been making moves. He hopped on Don Toliver’s track ‘Private Landing’ and did a stripped-back version of SZA’s ‘Snooze.’ Fans are still waiting for a full album, though—it’s been a minute since his last release, Justice, in 2021.

In other words, the big news is, Justin and Hailey Bieber welcomed their first child! Hailey gave birth to their son, Jack Blues Bieber, last month. So it’s not just new music on the horizon for Justin, but a whole new chapter in his life as a dad.
